Farm Hand - 2026 Season

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Farm Hands to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for farming and a willingness to learn various aspects of farm operations. This role involves hands-on work with sheep, cattle, and poultry, ensuring the smooth functioning of daily farm activities.

Job begins in March/April and goes through Thanksgiving, with the potential to stay on through the winter months.

Weekly schedule:

  • ~8 hour shifts on Wednesday-Friday

  • ~4 hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday

  • This is flexible depending on the team that we build. But Wed-Friday are for sure.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

  • Tear down and set up portable fencing daily for sheep and poultry paddocks.

  • Move portable poultry housing daily.

  • Supervise daily farm operations, including coordinating tasks among team members.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm facilities and equipment.

  • Processing/butchering/packaging poultry with team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is required.

  • Tractor experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of animal health and handling, particularly sheep and/or cattle, is a plus.

  • Familiarity with farm machinery operation and maintenance is advantageous.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to work hard alongside us

  • Willingness to learn new skills related to farming techniques and equipment operation.
